@MirkoDinapoli: I don't have any news to share about this feature being re-introduced in our Smartphones, unfortunately. What I'd recommend is checking out the Google Play Store, where you may be able to download a universal remote application for use with your current phone. Please ensure to check download numbers and user ratings in order to help you make an informed choice on which app to choose.
