Can some one please tell me what does IEMI SV 01 mean? And how do do tell if i have a refurbished phone or a brand new one?

IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity the SV stands for software version and the 01 is The software version number identifying the revision of the software installed on the phone. 99 is reserved.
