Galaxy store update loop

Been trying to access the store for a week now and it always wants to update. It first downloads themes then the main store update then closes. When reopening it does the same again.

Since this has been happening I have had two ui updates and still the same. I have tried clearing the cache and other data and still the same. I can update apps via the click and hold method and clicking update apps but can not get on to look for other apps etc.

Phone - galaxy s23

Ui - 6.0

Android version - 14

Store version - 4.5.63.9

Any help or ideas to try would be much appreciated

My phone is doing the same thing! New phone as well. This has been extremely annoying and inconvenient. I've tried all these suggest methods and still no luck. There has got to be a fix out there for this. I would appreciate the help!

OK, I think I just cracked this. You need to go into settings>apps then allow galaxy store permissions to "phone". It says this is for access to devices unique identifier.

As soon as I changed this the app updated.

I've tried all previous suggestions. Only thing worked for me was to use WiFi for the update & when in Galaxy Store, goto menu, settings, auto update apps - set Auto Update Apps to 'Using Wifi or mobile data' as was set to WiFi only before. Only after that was I able to access using mobile data again.

I tried resetting cache and permissions which made no difference and solved it using this: Go to Settings > Apps > Galaxy Store > App details in store > Update. Should now work perfectly. :smiling-face:
