galaxy a40 Smart View not working

Hello

Cannot connect galaxy a40 (OneUI 3.1) to AndroidTV Philips PUS8535 using Smart View from drop-down menu, although galaxy a5 2017 mirrors its screen just fine.

Its because since One UI 3, Chromecast screen mirroring was removed from samsung devices. Try and use the Google home app to cast your screen.
