Galaxy A40 problems after system update

Since I activated the system update this morning, there has been a small problem with the width of images - what should be a square is appearing slightly oblong.  There are other cosmetic changes which I guess I'll get used to.  Most annoying, though, it that I can't play my Audible audiobook for longer than a few minutes before it pauses itself.  Can I uninstall the update, or is there another way to put things right?

Ah, okay. If this is only occurring with this app, we believe it would be best to reach out to the app developers as the app may need to be updated, to be fully compatible with the new software.

Audible now working OK, but the width of the image on screen is still not quite as wide as it should be.

Could you perhaps show us an example, so we can get a better understanding? Does this only occur on certain apps, or is it constant?

The best example I can give is from the Killer Sudoku App.  You'll see from the following screenshot that that the buttons to the right of the numeric keypad have re-sized so that the words "Check", "Restart" etc no longer fit correctly onto what were previously square buttons.  The buttons are now no longer square, so the words are broken into two lines.
