Factory Reset A70 - Samsung Sync Photos - Your Companion Linking App

My Samsung recently got repaired. The phone was factory reset. Before this I had backed up photos through Your Samsung Companion App and I have access to some, not all, photos from there that were backed up before my phone got damaged, thankfully the phone is now functioning, however the linking app on PC says I have a new, separate Samsung A70 with no photos linked, and I need to copy across, sync or move the old photos that I can visibly see over PC in my photo files through the app. Which HAVE been backed up. It's just they're not being recognised as the devices backup. I am happy to provide more detail upon request, Thank you Ryan

did you use Samsung Smart Switch to do the backup? if so, find the folder that contains the backup, then copy that folder across to a new backup you will have made after the repair. for example, the original backup will be dated before the factory reset. right-click and copy to your most recent backup, which you have made after the repair.
