Disabling drop down menu on Samsung A12

Is there any way to disable the drop down menu on a galaxy a12 phone. It drops down when I am on a call and my cheek presses the icons on the menu. I don’t use it at any other time so would prefer to just disable it. Thanks 👍

Indeed, it's a core feature of Android itself you cannot disable
