DeX (Wired) not the same - Android 16 / UI8 vs Android 15 / UI7

I heard a rumour that Samsung was drifting towards a Google version, sadly, it is true.

ZFOLD6 wired DeX - was perfect bliss, with a few Goodlock tweaks

ZFOLD7 wired DeX - is a horrible, rejig, that's just too fussy.

Samsung, why do you have to jump in bed with Google for everything, you do it better alone.

You just ruined my favourite Samsung feature.

Sooo, if i wanted to make changes like under A15 can it be done, at all, under A16?

A16, you get the 3 options, and that's it. Goodlock Multistar resolution and lots of other tweaks are also gone; no more 'I love DeX' section.

Do you think it's just the app needs updating for OneUI 8 but it shows as supported on the current 10.0.32

Don't suppose anyone knows if this is the same on the S25U on the beta? I use on OneUI7 on my S24U.

Really want to know if it's there on the S25U as if this is another feature drop I'm genuinely becoming confused with Samsung. I hate buying a device at a current spec of software tools then it's taken away with updates. I know they dropped Dex for windows which was fine as i didn't use that but I never expected something as crucial as resolution...

Devices in general feel more like expensive rental services every year, you don't often own what you originally purchased.

It's a different layout but all standard output options are there.

Cheers. That's relieving as it's so helpful having a pocket PC traveling.

I don't mind Samsung tiding up menus as they see fit, guess we all need to just look more.
