Complaint: No S Pen Support on Fold 7

• Dear Samsung,

Why is the S Pen no longer supported on the Galaxy Z Fold 7? Many of us used it daily — for notes, work, and creativity. Removing it without offering a real alternative is frustrating and disappointing.

Please  provide us with a solution. We need the S Pen back.

I agree and this has stopped me swopping my S24 Utra for one. S26 UTRA it is then. Possibly, just Possibly an Z Fold 7 Ultra!! Who knows?

These forums aren't seen by samsung directly- besides admins for monitoring, so as a forum for customers to interact we cant really say "why".

There isnt really a solution being they took away the support for the pen itself completely *hardware side. Only option would be a 3rd party pen which will have limited functionality

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Forum

I posted a thread earlier from an eminent journalist answering your question.

Sadly the Fold series has always struggled with the SPen and most recently you had to buy a separate one (it didn't come with the device).

Not many did so it appears Samsung took that as not enough interest to warrant further investment into a niche item that wasn't that popular overall.

(Yes some people wanted it but put it onto perspective of the several million devices they aim to sell).

Don't, think of our mental, as mentioned these are not monitored by HQ types.

That said we always had it bashed into us be creative with the S Pen, now we have the biggest screen to write on and S Pen is gone, bonkers, as mentioned I never use the S Pen.

Unless I get 200mp zoom in exchange I wouldn't accept that, zoom is higher up my list of creative priorities.

I like Dex as I don't need a tablet for creative purposes. If I would need to use an external Wacom to sketch it's just defeated it's own wireless portability benefits.
