Automatically record sleep hours

Everyday Samsung Health wants to check and record my sleep hours.

Is there a invisible option to automatically record the time every day?

Hi there,

The phone can record your sleeping time based on the last time you used it before going to sleep, provided you don't use the phone afterward. However, it isn't very accurate without a smartwatch or smart ring.

Well I know, I've a smartwatch but don't want to wear it by night.

Why isn't there an option to automatically record sleep time? At least the app should input the time between the last lock at night and the first unlock in the morning. Can you please shed some light on why that option is not available? I have been waiting for this basics functionality since I bought my first samsung phone 8 years ago.. Im tired of waiting so I'll start taking the matter into my own hands, starting with this message. Can you please reply explicitly why this function is not available? Can you make it happen? Who should I contact to make it happen? Please dont tell me to buy a watch o a ring and use it at night, this is just a few lines of code, that can help a lot of people around the world to regularize their sleep, so let's make an effort. What do you say?
