Auto Delete for text messages.

Hello, I just got the s24 ultra so I'm still trying to figure out how to change some settings cause it's really different then the s10 note plus I had till I got this. So I was going through my text for pictures of landscaping for our business and they disappeared along with a week worth of messages. How do I change this so that it won't auto delete? Thank you!

Can you confirm which message app you are using? Google messages or Samsung?

I don't believe Samsung messages has the ability to auto delete texts, unless you mean the delete old messages feature when you reach the 1000 txt limit. This can be toggled off in message settings.
I believe Google messages does have an auto delete feature (OTP messages) but as I don't use it, I'm unable to confirm. Sorry. Presumably, it will be in its message settings?

If you mean you've previously deleted the messages (Samsung messages) intentionally and they have gone into the recycle bin, then they are auto deleted after 30 days. You can toggle this feature off.
