April patch release still whatsapp and Google assistant not working

Just updated April patch still unable to make whatsapp call using Google assistant, does anyone know what the hell going on is

 Google or samsung knows about this problem and they are not fiixing it. Looks like a scam haha disappointed android user and loosing fate in samsung😏 despite high phone price can't provide stable software.

Depends on what permissions WhatsApp/Meta give.
Because WhatsApp has end to end encryption, I'm not sure if it will allow this
Doubt it will be anything that Samsung will be able to do about it.
Be something between the app developers and Google
Have you tried contacting the app developers and leaving feedback?

It's a Google problem, it hasn't got anything to do with Samsung.i read that Google assistant will eventually stop running 🏃‍♀️ 😅 it's best to contact Google though it's play store services app

Ask Bixby to make a WhatsApp call instead. It works, I've just tried using it to call a friend.

I've got same problem with messenger and what's app calls. My audio is distorted and garbled. I even took it to O2 and they checked everything. This is a Samsung software issue as it stopped working just after.Theres a thread saying only way is to factory reset. Complete headache. No help from Samsung but they know about it. Time to change phone

Similar problem on my side; i get the reply from a spoken command "Assistant can't find the WhatsApp number". It used to work before and it was a perfect and safe solution in Android Auto. Bixby, a Samsung app, is able to get it done..., but is not part of Android Auto. Is Google excluded from access to Contacts? It seems to me that contacts are organized diffrently after the update  and WhatsApp has been given a different (unaccessable) location in Contacts.

Still not working and you know what I am using bixby and works better. Google is just making fools around. Still believe IOS is more stable and easy to approach.
