Japanese keyboard layout change

So I'm learning Japanese and have installed the Japanese keyboard on my Samsung S23+

Now when I switch from my main keyboard to Japanese the layout for Querty changes to a slightly wider keyboard causing me to misstype certain characters. In the past on my S9+ I had the same keyboard but no layout change. Is it possible to have a single keyboard for both languages or does it have to be switched?

Hallo @Members_N9JfOfx,

That is a good question. When you see the keyboard you can press the 3 dots on the lupper leftside. Do you see the icon 'Keyboard size'? With that you can adjust the size of the keyboard to your own specifications. Can you let us know if that works for you?
