Hello, I have my S24 since little more than few weeks but it has several important issues. Most important one, the GPS locations is almost never precise with apps like Google maps or even GPS tests. Even after recalibration or in open spaces, it's very imprecise. Is it a known issue? Is Samsung working on an update?

As I've send multiple error reports for this same issue, but last week's I don't have this issue with Waze at the moment. Accuracy option is enabled always.

When the issue occurs, send an error report shortly after to Samsung developers, they can investigate only recent logs. If they send a template, reply to them again. Their system is not always being handled by humans

Oh that's good tip I'll try ... The issue is that the diagnostic app does not recognise any malfunction... Says the location is normally working... But it really does not 😅

Nope... I sent several error reports as well as Jimboo suggested above but the ''Samsung experts'' told me that they could either not see any issue, or told me that it might have been because I was indoor (it's not the issue) or other useless suggestions..

The last time I insisted they said an update is coming but it seemed like an answer to shut me up to be honest.

I tried to reset the phone in the mean time, but doesn't solve the issue.

It's incredibly annoying.

Maybe you want to try with the report as well? If more people has it they should be looking for an actual solution.. I guess..

I'm having similar issues, Google Maps can't find my location or doesn't show my speed, data is very very poor when not on WiFi.. Anyone with a solution?
I'm on the verge of trying a factory reset but don't want to lose everything on my phone..

Hallo @vplo,

Thank you for your message. Is everything up-to-date and have you also tried resetting the networksettings? You can try this instead of a factory reset.

Have you also tried deleting the cache memory through the recovery menu? If not, turn of your phone, press and hold the Volume Up, Power, and Home/Bixby buttons until you see the Android logo. After a few seconds you will enter the recovery menu. Select 'Wipe cache partition' and afterward 'Reboot systeem now'. Let us know it it worked.

With kind regards,

Ajay

network settings I've done, doesn't fix the GPS thing (not sure about the data thing).
I've been trying to get to the recovery menu for at least 15 times now but it doesn't work. I only have 3 buttons (volume up/down and power) on the phone so I'm not sure what you mean by home button? Everything is up to date and I've only had the phone for about a month now, not the best start..

Thank you for your response vplo,

If you don't have a Home button it is just the Power and Volume up button.

To see if this can be resolved, we also have the option to look with you remotely. You can then make an appointment for a Remote Assistance session, one of my colleagues will then call you back and look with you remotely. My colleague can also make an adjustment or change where necessary. Look here for more information: https://bit.ly/2OhhbuU

With kind regards,

Ajay
