The new series of Samsung smartphones have been revealed at Unpacked 2021: the Galaxy S21 series – available to pre-order now in the Nordics (SE, DK, FI, NOuntil 28 January 2021! And don't forget to check out the pre-order promotions on offer with it too! When purchasing a phone in the S21 series you can claim Galaxy Buds (which ones depends on phone model) and SmartTag for only 99SEK, 99NOK, 79DKK or 9.90.

During 2020 we all faced the challenges of not seeing our loved ones, but somehow we also managed to maintain our social lives and connections through the great world of technology. Virtual work meetings, endless phone calls and online house parties became a part of the new normal.

The next gen Samsung smartphones, the S21 series, aim to support the new normal - allowing us to share our world and connect with the people around us. With Galaxy S21, you can do more than ever, more easily, with an ecosystem of Galaxy innovations, experiences and connected devices — from your tablets, wearables, PCs to Smart TVs and home appliances.

In summary: the Galaxy S21 makes your everyday… well, E P I C!

The Galaxy S21 series comes in three models to fit your lifestyle and feature needs: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

S21 & S21+: triple-lens, AI-enhanced pro-grade camera system built for every user, so anyone (even me maybe?) can capture, edit, and share amazing shots, and in steady 8K video; edge-to-edge, Dynamic AMOLED 2X adaptive 120Hz display; the most advanced processor ever in a Galaxy device, so you can download quickly and game and stream seamlessly.

S21 Ultra: quad-lens advanced pro-grade AI-enhanced camera system, which includes ultra-wide and wide lenses, as well as Dual Zoom-lenses (one optical 3x and one optical 10x; adaptive display that supports a refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz at Quad HD+ quality; Wi-Fi 6E and Ultra Wide Band (UWB); S Pen support…

(Yes, S Pen support on an S-Series!)

And of course there’s a lot more. Epic, one might say.

So - what are your thoughts on the new S21 series? If you have any questions regarding the S21 or how to pre-order feel free to ask them here. You can also check out the UK S21 board for more FAQ's.

If you pre-ordered it will be shipped 4-6 weeks after the release date, so after the 29th. I wouldn't say it's quite like guessing your door code, since the probability of picking the right 4 digit code between 0000 and 9999 is one in 10 000 😂

So the special colors for Nordic customers will start shipping at the earliest on the 26th of February?? Despite ordering on the 14:th of January? Wow. Even people in the UK are at least expecting theirs on the 14th of february, I thought that was a long wait.

Well then. This is the first and last time I'll use the Samsung Shop to order stuff and will never ever order a special color again. I buy a ton of tech and gadgets and computer parts. I buy new phones every year. This has been the most non-communicative, inefficient and unprofessional logistics and information flow I've experienced by far. This is not how other tech-companies run stuff in the 2020:s.

This is by far the worst experience i have ever had when i ordered something online. I will never order anything from Samsung's store again. It's dangerous when companies forget that service is an important part of sales, I hope Samsung will realize that soon.

@ElinH Apparently there's a bunch of UK customers already getting their special colored phones today (according to a couple of posts in the UK section of this forum for example).

Since us Swedish (Nordic?) customers of the special colors have received no ETA, no update, no info at all except an email that just said "Customizing" 11 days ago. Could you please check if we could get any signs of life?

Well this community is about as useful as a tennis racket with no strings. I've done my own research around the status of these "Exclusive colors" for S21 Ultra, parsing information found in other more structured and trafficked forums. This quote summarizes what I've found pretty well:

"They should start shipping from Feb 8 to 12 (earliest) or Feb 15 to 19 (deadline)"

I would advise others here who are looking for useful information about their phones to find other venues. In Sweden I recommend Swedroids forum. In general the subreddits r/Samsung, r/Galaxys21 and r/s21ultra have some useful info as well.

I would advise Samsung to rebuild this terrible forum and listen to a reputable team of UX specialists to make it usable for human beings.

I'm glad I only ordered the black, which I've just found out is being sent out soon, minus the ear buds and the charging plug, thank god I didn't order the special colour, tatally agree this forum has been little help, but the real culprit in this farce is the Samsung shop, never again will ouse the Samsung shop worst o line experience ever, and non existent support. Good luck to the people still waiting.

Hi @RAGE77

As I have already helped you with your order, checked the status and given you an update to ensure that everything is looking normal, I am unsure of what else you want me to do.

As explained when placing the order, you should expect 4-6 weeks (after release date) for the custom colours to be delivered. To get updates on your specific order, you can keep checking your order status to know when it has been shipped.

This is the info that I have for now, and that I have already given you. If there is anything else I can do or any other questions I can help with, please let me know.

Hi @Bratty1

As we checked your order status and gave you an update on it being out of stock, constructive feedback on how we can improve and how you would have expected the forum to be more helpful is very welcome. Thanks ✌️

When I placed my order, it said nothing about "4-6 weeks delivery time". It was only stated that they would start being sent out on January 29th. I now see that Samsung Shop have updated the information when placing an order for a "Custom" color unit, which of course is great. But I think that such a large company as Samsung should have terminals in stock to deliver at launch for a "big" release as this.

Hi @ElinH

Regarding this abysmal Order status experience:
It doesn't really convey any feeling of reassurance that absolutely no one knows exactly what the status of my specific phone and order is.
On my order page the status is "Order placed".
In my email on January 27, I received the status "Customizing", but it still today only says "order placed" on the order page(!?). And the complete chain of statuses are five in number so there's still a way to go.

When I ordered (Jan 14th at 17:41) the shop page said "ships from the 29th". This has later been changed to say ships within 4-6 weeks for people who order now.
You Elin, said that they will start being sent 4-6 weeks after release (that's 4-6 weeks afte the 29:th, so at the earliest on February 26th). If I ask a Samsung support representative I will get slightly different answers depending on who I ask, something vague about 4-6 weeks and differing between from order date, release date or other.

A bunch of Englishmen and Frenchmen got their phones on the 3rd and 4th of February, even goodie bags (tripod, water bottles etc. etc.).
Americans and others who have not received theirs yet have received "shipping dates" and status updates such as "Preparing shipping" etc. last week and this week.

How is it possible that a shipping estimate for a simple phone order can extend one and a half months? From the 29th of January until the 12th of March. And that it differs wildly depending on who you ask in your organization.

I do not think we as customers here are demanding anything unreasonable, I buy lots of electronics and new phones every year, things like this usually work extraordinarily much better in all other places.
However, I think the simultaneously different order statuses and the highly uncertain and unspecific delivery date for an item that costs 15.000SEK is pretty unreasonable.

Regarding this forum:
It's a labyrinth, and that's not a good thing. Classic forums have a tree where you can orient yourself of where you are and what you're looking for. This is very difficult here, to say the least. The subject listing is chaotic and you can't see which subject is the latest, you can't see which topic is "hot", when the subject was posted or when the latest response to the subject was posted. Stickied threads are not signaled as stickied. It's also difficult to see who's replying to whom and there's no easy way to quote someone.
It's just terrible terrible UX and it feels like it's purposefully confusing.
