Year old freezer and no replacement handle available

The handle on the freezer has cracked after just over a year and after 40 minutes to customer service there is no available replacement. The suggestion was to book a service engineer and pay to have it replaced. I’m struggling with Samsung’s customer service or lack of. So far not impressed.

thanks for the quick reply, it is appreciated. After spending 40 minutes on the phone to Customer Service 0333 000 0333 I was told the handle I needed was not in stock and my only option was to have an engineer call and it would be his decision to charge me. I found this unacceptable but had no option. 
Much later in the afternoon I was called by the engineer and he said this was totally free and we have arranged an appointment. What the engineer knew that the chap in Customer Service didn’t is a mystery but assuming this happens I am very satisfied.

Hi @IanSS , sorry to hear that the handle of your fridge freezer cracked. Which department did you get in touch with about this? This is the official website for Samsung spare parts. You can see all the available parts for your model and if the part you need is not there, you can click the yellow highlighted link "Can't find what you're looking for". Here you can request further support for the part you are missing directly to the Product Support Specialist.
