I have a WW10T534DAW/S1, the instructions show how to add detergent manually but nowhere does it mention how to add fabric softener if I don't want to use the auto dispenser.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks, Steve,
So on the image, the left (Softner) and right (Detergent) circular seals are for the auto, the square in the middle at the back is the manual detergent, but there does not seem to be an option for manual softener.

I dont think you really can. Samsung have put a compartment in the drawer for manual dosing of detergent .... but its not really suitable for softener because there is no fabric softener syphon part in the drawer where it can take in the softener just at the right moment (and that is just before the last rinse) - no , all you can do really is do your wash as normal then when your washing cycle has finished is select '1' rinse and spin and put the fabric softener (a capful or 2) in the manual dose compartment of the soap drawer (dont put it in when the pump is running at the start of the rinse cycle because all the softener you put into the compartment will just go straight to the bottom of the drum and just pump out, thats no good. You want to wait until it starts filling up with water, then open the soap drawer and put in your capful of fabric softener

in all fairness there are not many other auto-dose machines on the market to choose from these days and especial at the price (you could get an autodose series 5 samsung with wi-fi and steam and bubble soak and inverter motor for around 500 quid starting price , see how many washing machines models from other manufacturers with all these features you can buy around the 500 quid mark in the UK - you would be pushed.
and if you can even other manufactures that have autodose even a lot of them only have one compartment for manual dosing in the drawer.
I think possibly the dearer Miele and AEG and some other more expensive models possibly may have a fabric softener manual dose compartment ... but only a few.

@Millie456 - how about giving one of these liquid detergents with built in fabric softener a go and put it in the autodose detergent compartment ?
I have never personally tried any of these detergent liquid with built in fabric softener so I cannot say for certain what they are like ... but it might be worth giving it a go maybe and see how you get on?
Dont mix it with any other detergent left in the drawer. Take the whole drawer out completely and empty out any remaining liquid , then rinse the drawer under a running tap. Then dry the drawer thoroughly. Then put the whole drawer back into the machine . then pour the detergent with fabric softener into the detergent side of the autodose compartment and fill it up. Then go into your washing machine menu display to 'DOSE PER RINSE' and turn it to 'off' (because you are using detergent with built in fabric softener)
