Washing machine WW90T534DAW makes rubbing and squeaking noise when turning

Hi,

The machine is making a rubbing noise when I turn the drum by hand (video attached). Before it was making a banging noise for some time. It was levelled and not overloaded.

Can you advise?

This could be the bearing seal wearing off - I'm facing the same problem on my machine. Definitely not ideal

Hi @ChrisM , yes, the same sound takes place when the machine is in operation. I noticed the sound for the first time when I started a cycle and the drum was turning to evaluate the load. I stopped the machine right away as didn't want further damage if there was any, didn't want to risk...
