My washing machine won't get started on a load. The screen behaves normally, powers on, and I can choose between different cycles, change settings like spin speed, soil level, etc. Everything looks normal but when I press "start" it just makes a single beep and does nothing more.
A local repair man came and said I should just throw it away (it is only 2 years old) and get a different brand. I don't think that's right. It's been a good machine until now. My husband replaced the door lock as we thought that could be the problem - I don't think the door is locking when we press the start button - but the replacement doesn't seem to have fixed it.
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of problem or any idea of what to do? The model is #WF42H000AW.
