Hi so I don’t have the option to press start ( as it says on the guide )
I see @Jodymanch . Would you be able to share your washing machine model and let me know and what phone are you trying this? The washing machine model can be found inside the door on a white sticker.
You can control the machine (start, pause and/or cancel the programme) as long as you switch the machine and switch on remote start. The button is usually on the right side of the control panel and looks like a mobile phone with the WiFi symbol on top. Switch the machine on, press the button and you should be able to control the machine from the SmartThings app with ease. Hope this helps
