Series 5 washing machine WW80TA046AX - increasing times

Hi I recently purchased the above series 5 washing machine. Does anyone have any idea why when i select cotton wash the time will be for example 1 hour 17 minutes. I’ll go upstairs come back down and suddenly it’s jumped to 2+ hours remaining. 

it keeps happening and is deeply frustrating. Not to mention the additional power it’s consuming being on for so long.

So this mornings wash doubled in time randomly. Then I just done a much lighter load and the time went from 1 hour 17 minutes to 3+ hours when I came back in to the room so it doesn't make any sense. This seems to only happen on Cotton cycle. Mixed load doesn't seem to do it.

Hi,
The washer may have a problem with the timer or the motor. The timer could be sticking on a cycle or motor may be having a hard time turning the agitator and the drain pump. There may be something caught in the drain hoses/pump or faulty pump

Does it happen if put less
Washing in drum
And not over load the machine

Yeah thanks I loaded it with towels this morning and it was a full heavy load and the time increased from 1 hours 17 to 2 hours 40 minutes.

I just done a much lighter load with just cotton items and it went from 1 hour 17 to 3 hours+ so doesn't right at all.

It adds time to heavier washes
