Scratching on dispenser levers

has anyone else had trouble with scratching on the stainless steel inserts on the water/ice levers?

We only received our fridge on Monday from Marks Electrical and have just noticed scratches on the ice/water dispenser levers! This was not there before so can only be something we have done! We have only use tall drink glasses so I don’t see what we have done wrong? I would have thought being stainless Stella it would have been more hard wearing?
