I have a 3 year old Samsung washing machine that started to have an electrical smell (rather like a car left to run outside your house!) which I thought was my imagination. Then it suddenly stopped working but worked when switched off and on. The next day it would not work when you switched it on. I changed the plug to a different socket and then it crackled and still didn't work.
Anyone come across something similar?
Is this work getting fixed to sell the machine second hand (we had to replace it immediately due to the uniform my children wear).
