MY SAMSUNG FREEZER RF5639040SR CONTINUES TO FREEZE UP AND BLOCK AND IS COMPLETELY USELESS AND HAS BEEN FOR MONTHS. I HAVE JUST FOUND OUT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE ALSO FOUND OUT IN AMERICA THEY ARE REFUNDING CUSTOMERS. THIS DEFECT SHOULD BE PUT RIGHT FREE OF CHARGE OR REFUNDING SO I CAN PURCHASE A NEW FRIDGE.

Sounds like we have the same problem and it has blown me to the fullest. I paid almost $3,000 i have been having this problem a little after a yr after i purchased . At this point do you have any idea the steps to take to have my money refunded to me. what is the 10 warranty on the top of the fridge for

The french door model along with the one with the ice-maker is an expensive pile of poo. The 10y warranty is only on the digital compressor. I had mine for four years, the icemaker stopped working, ice accumulates inside the refrigerator and Samsung washes their hands of it. Worst appliance I have ever had the misfortune of owning.
