Samsung ice machine loud noise - rs68a8520s9

Samsung fridge freezer approx 6 months old model rs68a8520s9

The freezer suddenly started making a very loud noise like something is spinning/broken and it is continuous we can not stop it, even when turning the ice machine off on the panel. 

there is no ice trapped in the chute. 

when I press the button to release ice it falls but gets stuck as the flap does not fully open. 

any ideas?
