Samsung Ecobubble 5 Waste Water Pipe Replacement - can I tip the machine for better access?

Hi

I have a Samsung Ecobubble 5 and I need to replace the waste/dirty water pipe as I was drilling under my sink and nicked the pipe by accident.

I have a new (genuine Samsung) replacement coming tomorrow however from the videos on youtube (from the supplier) that show the replacement procedure it shows the demo machine, with its rear access panel removed, has been tipped forward to allow access to the bottom of the cover that holds the tube in place.

I would have thought that the demo machine used in the video has never had water in it where as mine has so is it safe to tip it forward or is there a better (or preferred way) to do this?

Many thanks

I pull mine out of the space and then tip backwards (being careful not to pinch any water pipes) when i need to get a better look underneath the washing machine.
Some may call it dangerous as washing machine could 'slip' and fall back down on me as I am underneath it - but its never happened to me in the years I have been doing that (but there is always a first time I suppose)

You will more than likely need to remove a cover at the bottom of the machine to get to your pipe where the drain pump and sump hose is. Depending on your machine it will be a metal plate/cover(likely) or a corrugated PVC plastic cover (later machines)

Hope this helps please be safe. And also unplug the machine at the wall socket. - also there are very sharp bits of metal underneath the machine on the cabinet that can cut through your skin like a knife so be careful of that too, many a time I have cut myself on the sharp metal corners.
