RSH1NHMH freezer not cooling

Had this American style fridge for about 9 years. Never had any problems. All of a sudden the freezer isn't cooling but the fridge is working fine. 

I unplugged it, took the small panel off the back at the bottom hoovered off all the dust off the fan and coils. Cleared food away from the vents inside the back of the freezer. Plugged it back in set the temperature to cool on both fridge on both fridge and freezer. The fridge has cooled more but the temp on the freezer has stayed the same.

Check to the fan is working, that's all good.

Is there any thing else I can test to pinpoint the problem?

Anybody else had a similar problem and how is you solve it?

I'm having the same issue, temp says -20 on freezer but food is defrosting, no ice being produced either. Fridge is working OK

hi Pete, I ended up calling out an engineer through Samsung. As my FF was 12+ years old, he was honest and said there's not much point in repairing as there was no guarantee that it'll work. At a potential cost of over £600 +vat for the parts/ labour it'll be wiser to put that towards a new unit.
So I did!
