RF18HFENBSR Ice tray does not fill with water

I've had my refrigerator for 9 months and finally got around to hooking up the water line for the ice maker. Problem is no water is filling in the ice trays. Water is flowing through the water line and I activated the ice on button but nothing. The freezer is set at -2 degrees. The refrigerator is not making any noise either indicating the water is filling in the tray. Any help or suggestions?.

I'm not at all familiar with that model but one thing that really stands out is you say the freezer is set to -2 degrees... Perhaps you're in a country where Fahrenheit is the norm but talking Celcius, you should look for something like -19 degrees in the freezer and -2 is FAR to warm. Maybe this is impacting your ice cube production?
