The "door striker" is a thin piece of plastic protruding from the inside top of the door that when closed enters a hole in the dryer body to activate the door closed sensor.
This snapped off in normal use, although, Samsung claim this is "misuse" so aren't interested in a warranty claim despite what appears to be poor design.
Anyway trying find a replacement. Does anyone know if there is a way of just replacing this part or if not what is the part I need? Hopefully not a new door.
I cannot find any relevant part, including a door, on the internet or any guidance on how to fix this fault.
Any information advice appreciated.
