Registering American fridge freezers

I am trying to register my fridge freezer and it keeps saying serial number is invalid.

@Mike1960: Are you attempting to register the fridge freezer via the Members app/webpage, or are you registering for the extended warranty? In the meantime, please make sure that the model number you enter is correct, check for any possible character discrepancies e.g. 0 instead of O, and check to make sure that there are no spaces at the beginning or end of the model or serial number you've entered.

@Mike1960: Zeros will usually have a diagonal line through them, or look slightly more oval compared to a capital O, which is more circular (0 vs O).
