Hello,

Recently bought this fridge freezer. I have noticed that there is a sligh frost around the shelves in fridge compartments...Is that expected? As specs says it should be frost free. Or is it frost free for freezer only?

Thank you

Hi @Sauliusban

Hope you're doing well. Several factors can result to frost around the shelves or the appliance. Please ensure that the air outlet vents aren't blocked by food stored inside the refrigerator. To ensure this is the case, space the food out as much as possible to improve ventilation, and close the door firmly.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. I can confirm that all vents are not obstructed and fridge and freezer doors are closed firmly. I still have some of the frost around the shelves in fridge as well as freezer even after trying to adjust temperature +3 to +5 +7 (-19 on freezer). Now I have notice loud cracking noise happening from time to time... Is it normal? How to avoid that? ( please see link for pictures below)

Frost inside the fridge/freezer is caused by moisture coming into contact with the coils inside the appliance and freezing. This is caused by several factors, including dehydration from changes in temperature, exposure to air, and food being there for too long. Can you try to open the door when you have to get or place something and close it straight away to see if that changed anything? Is this happening in a particular area (milk shelf, any drawer in special...)?
