New washer-dryer- can't turn off the dryer function

I have had this machine for about 6 months and have been generally happy with it.  However, today, having dried linen yesterday, I could not turn off the dryer function.  Could only toggle between different drying times. (And those toggle buttons are not arthritis-friendly.)  Settled for the shortest possible drying time.  However, I very rarely want to use the dryer function so this is a real pain.  WD85K6 model

how strange! In order to provide you with the right information, would you be able to confirm the full model code (this can be found inside the appliance's door)? Do you get any error code or message on the screen when that happens? Is the button stuck in any way?

Actually fixed it - the classic turn it off and on again at the wall.
