yes because fridge should be set between 4-5'c and salad should be in 'crisper' at the bottom of the fridge.
If you mean the dial is set to '7' that does not mean it correlates to 7'c , its just number 7 on the dial. Number 7 on your fridge will make your fridge colder than if you set your dial to number 3
