My american fridge freezer has stopped producing ice.
i have reset it but that doesn't work. There is no frosting of the water pipe or inside freezer.
it has happened before about two years ago and the reset worked that time.
about 3 months ago the water started to spill over when the cube tray filled and ice started to form in the ice collection bucket which I had to clear each week.
machine is 6 years old.
can it be fixed and how much £?

Hi - did this get resolved? We have the same fridge and the ice maker has never worked. We had it for a while without connecting to water (as we had a new kitchen built in an extension and then moved the fridge to a connection). The water works and is nicely chilled, but no ice! We have defrosted to no avail. We also called customer services but they said we they could do nothing as out of warranty, which is frankly a bit disappointing as you would expect goods to work as advertised, and for more than a couple of years. I see from internet searches that lots of people, both in the UK and US, have problems with the Samsung ice makers. Any tips or things we could try would be gratefully received. Thank you

Hi,
I actually bought. New ice maker module and replaced the faulty one. It works perfectly now.
I two YouTube videos for my model (or closest to my model using the same ice maker) and followed how to replace by unscrewing old ice module and plugging in th ends one.
job done, took less than an hour.

The ice maker on my 4 door fridge freezer has been blocking regularly every time the container is full. Samsung recommended turning the ice making feature off when not using ice. Not at all ideal or acceptable. There was no offer of investigation or rectification. Eventually it was offered- at my expense- because the warranty had now expired. I escalated my concerns but it has never been rectified. My older Samsung fridge freezer has an arm that detects ice full and has never been a problem. I have become disillusioned with Samsung support- or to be more precise- lack of support.
