Home AppliancesOur 3 year old ecobubble washing machine is beginning to get a bit noisy during drum rotation. It sounds like it's grinding a little where it used to be almost silent. If it is empty, I can reach inside and turn the drum manually. It feels a little rough when moving but it used to be glassy smooth for the same motion.
Can I expect a massive repair bill or will this maybe not deteriorate? Any quick fixes? Could it be limescale?
Thanks

Home AppliancesHi Beth. Thanks for the video. Sadly, I don't think it addresses my problem. I double checked and our machine is nicely balanced and well 'planted' on a concrete floor.
The sound is more like the sound it would make if the drum bearings had become damaged - really 'grindy' and gets louder/worse at high spin speeds.
I think I'll have to get someone round to look at it..
Thanks anyway
