Eco Bubble front filter - could a sock be stuck

I’ve had a couple of socks going missing. I’ve come to clean the front filter and to the right inside there is a hole with an orange piece in and it looks like a sock could be stuck behind this. Is this a possibility or is the material part of the washer 🤔

Hi, the orange part is a part of machine it’s basically a spinning mini turbine with blades that pushes the water up the waste pipe definitely try not to pull it out.
