I have a Samsung tumble dryer DV80M50133X that is around 4 years old. We missed to register it for the 5 years warranty. The problem is that it is make a hammering sound from the drum. It only happens after around 15-20 minutes when it seems to warm up enough. I had a generic repair guy out to take a look at it and he said it was coming from the drum for certain. It seems that it is only hammering on a certain spot on the drum and it has to go one revolution for it to start the bang. It is extremely annoying with this noise. The dryer is working fine otherwise. Any idea how to fix this?
