I cleaned my washing machine drain filter as an item of clothing disintegrated in my washer so I wanted to check all was clear. I put it all back together and started a cycle to clean the drum but then notice water was running on the floor so I quickly opened the hatch and tried to tighten up the washer drainage cap I couldn’t get the arrows to align and now it seams to be jammed and I cannot turn it either way. What can I go to get the cap off to so I can ensure it’s on fully. I’m scared to use pliers incase I break the cap.

@Monique25: You shouldn't need to use pliers to remove the drain filter cap, as this should be possible by rotating it anti-clockwise. If water is running on to the floor, then you may wish to try pulling out the emergency drain hose, and draining any excess water in this manner. For a step-by-step guide, please refer to the link below.

If you're still experiencing issues, then please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and reach out via your preferred contact method, and an advisor can arrange for an engineer to inspect the device.
