Dirty drawer in American Fridge Freezer

The edges of the bottom drawer in the fridge portion get vegetable debris caught under the plastic edging strip and I can find no way to remove it. I cannot believe this is unique to us, so anybody go any good ideas? Thanks.

Yes I have the same problem have tried everything to clean the drawers but nothing works, very poorly designed and the plastic material breaks easily especially in the freezer side. I have had this fridge freezer now for 7 years now just waiting for it to pack up.

Yes that’s what we have heard. The control electrics on the roof of the fridge failed a month ago and the repairer also had the same problem and broke the plastic trying to clean it out, so we did not try! Let’s hope someone who designed it reads this post and comes up with a solution!
