Can I use RF9000 Family Hub Fridge Freezer without connecting to an external water supply ?

Hi, I just had this RF9000 delivered and wasn't expecting to have to connect it to an external water supply. I'd like to start using it now while I get a plumber in to add a water pipe, but this could take a few weeks. Does anyone know if it's ok to use the fridge freezer without the water connected for a while ?

Yes it is, I did that. My F/F arrived before my new kitchen was finished, so I had it plugged in and operational in my dining room, just without the water&ice features.
