  • Hi I'm having an issue with the automatic conditioner dispenser on my washing machine.  It is not dispensing and says that the conditioner needs replenished even though the drawer is full.  I have tried cleaning and there is no blockage, I have also changed the water hardness level to see if that works.  No luck.  The model number if my machine is WW10M86DQ00.

As far as phones, tablets and laptop are concerned I have Apple for everything and only use Samsung for things like washing machines and tumble dryers and my oven is actually Samsung as well. However given how rubbish they all are I will never buy another Samsung home appliance again

if only Apple did washing machines and tumble dryers!

I would be more than happy to change the seals every 6 to 12 months as well. If this is the only issue that I have as it seems easy enough to do having taken the drawer apart and seen the issue, but the only parts I can find when searching for the seal is the whole new pump at £100 each time

I’m sure that under the Consumer law in the UK, quoting that the machine is not fit for purpose could potentially force their hand in making the repairs for free. I think up to 6 years from purchase price given the price of the machine and the simplicity of the fault

I wonder how the machine decides it has run out of conditioner?
If it counts up to 14 washes (or whatever it is) then maybe it needs clearing. You could try clearing the counter by unplugging the machine from the wall socket, then wat for about 10minutes, then plug back in , then perform a calibration without anything in the drum - and then see if the message goes off. Its maybe worth a try?

But Samsung’s cheap as chips right?

£110 for a pump that has to be replaced just because a 2p washer fails 😂

you can bet that spares if apple did make the washing machine would be double the price for that pump .

You may have bought your Samsung for £1250  but I bought my Samsung WW90T534DAW with autodose system, wifi connectivety ,steam, bubble soak for €550 Brand new - extremely great value for money and could not find any other make/model with exactly the same features for that price.
