Just bought a new Samsung washing machine. It's got this AI Energy mode thing. Do we think it is worth switching on, or just leave it off?

@Members_Rbk6qWJ: If AI Energy can help to reduce your energy bills through personalised monitoring, then I recommend exploring the feature to see how it can benefit you. If you'd like to find out more then please take a look at the link below.

Hi and welcome, i own an Oven and Fridge both have AI insights, I find the Oven just provides me my usage, whereas the Fridge gives a bit more guidance when someone leaves the fridge open too long or when we made ice for the dispenser a better (cheaper) time to do so.

I just bought Samsung Series 7 washing machine. When starting AI Energy mode, it increases time for a wash by approx 20 mins. If it works for 20 minutes more then should not it increase energy consumption and electricity bill? Plz explain how it saved energy and electricity bill?

I believe it extends the wash time accordingly to make up for the fact that the water isn't heated. It should help the detergent work more effectively that way.

But yeah. Washing on cold. I need to try it again, but on the Outdoor 40⁰C programme on my Series 8, it does a cold wash, and right now, my inlet water temperature is less than 9⁰C. Not ideal to be honest.
