If anyone is considering if its worth getting a "smart" Samsung washing machine. In most cases my answer is there is basically no point in the wi-fi connection.
Do you want to use samsungs useful tools such as a routine? All you can do is start cycle. What cycle? I dont know, and i hadnt had luck figuring it out.
Do you want to set a simple timer when the washing starts? Well tough luck, you can only set when you want it to end. For some reason not the opposite way around.
Do you just want to use the set end function and calculate by hand when it should start the wasching based on when it should end? Well, its going to start pulling the water the first second you start the set end function for some reason.
So it won't even wait till the time you would assume it will start but it will start doing stuff immediately.
Not to even mention that you cant do anything untill you set the washing machine to wait for the phone input by hand by pressing a button on the machine. At which point you might aswell just start the machine on the machine aswell...
The only thing that it has helped me is that i can start the cycle when i want if everything is pressed and selected from a different room, and even than i have to want to start it that second. So i have to set a timer to remind me to start the washing machine
