ZFlip4 - security patch level stuck on June 2023

Hi Community,

The security patch level on my Flip 4 is stuck on 1st June 2023.  Nothing I try seems to get it to update.  Everything else seems up to date.

The problem with this is that my work profile uses Microsoft Intune which now enforces the security update to be no more than 12 months old.  So I'm going to lose access to work resources unless I can update this security patch level.

I searched the community and found some suggestions about SIM cards.  I've tried swapping SIMs, turning them off, etc etc but still doesn't seem to have worked (though I don't have a working SIM from the network from which I originally bought the phone).

I've submitted error reports via Samsung Members but they are not replying to me. 

Any ideas?

That's the one outstanding thing i haven't done actually. (Well I had an old EE sim but it's deactivated so didn't work.
I might just need to go buy a month's PAYG ...

One of those where I wish I could just plonk one of my EE SIMs in for you to see if it works the magic haha. 😄 If you do get an active EE SIM in the phone let us know how it goes. 👍

Thanks so much. I ordered one for 9 quid. (eSIM not available for PAYG it seems).
I'll let you know how it goes when it arrives in a couple of days.
