Crease appeared on zflip screen , been told by EE I have to pay .....clearly a fault with the phone as the creases are a stress damage ....anyone else ?

Is the crease caused by the screen protector?? If so then seek the help of a local samsung service place.

If the screen is still working correctly then you need to get the screen protector replaced. It's not a fault with the phone, but protectors don't last for that long as they are ment to be sacrificial.
See if you can find a Samsung approved repair agent by calling the Samsung Customer Support.
Should be a straight forward thing to get done and you will be able to enjoy that device of yours fully again.

It is not the screen protector, it is the screen itself. When you bend a material enough times it develops stress fractures

Welcome to the wonderful world of foldable devices! - That's why I won't even consider getting one until this sort of problem is sorted out by the manufacturer.

Yes. Bought from Samsung Flop 4 a couple of weeks ago and told it was physical damage, asked for the photos of the damage and was told 36hrs ago yhey have being sent now.... Still waiting, do not pay contact trading standards, this issue is well known.
