Samsung Customer Services can advise the status of your warranty cover too.
As accidental damage is not covered under the standard 2 Year Manufacturing Warranty some do add Samsung Care+ within the relevant options timescale from the purchase date @Riz12
Some Household Insurance Contents covers phone's and some Bank Accounts provide cover as a perk of the account.
