Z Fold 3

Just bought the z fold 3 and loving it...love the massive screen any tips or what people think of it

This is a thread I created a short time ago > Samsung-z-fold³-my-first-thoughts-and-impressions. 

The multi tasking and split screen capabilities of this phone help to show it's true power and potential.

The addition of a split keyboard both on the outer and inner screen compliments the phone.

Flex mode is awesome too.

I still get a look of amazement from people around me when I'm commuting and when using the outer screen but then feel I want to carry on what I'm doing and un Fold the Fold to use the inner screen it's like they look twice. I've had people comment and ask question's about the phone.

I've not been disappointed with any aspect of my Fold³.

It's an epic device and I agree with the inner screen.
To be able to multitask or browse social media etc is brilliant.
S Pen support just adds to it's usability.
My only two real issues are with lack of decent design cases, along with some of the pricing of them.
Other thing is camera quality, especially in low lighting.
I too did a first impressions article on this community. Must do a long term review of it

Did you choose a case ?

I use the Samsung Aramid Case which I paid half price for due to buying it the same time as the Fold.

It's not a cheap case but I like the minimalist look and the texture / feel in the hand.

I also purchased some ringke pen holders that adhere to the back of the case to hold the sPen, although I decided not to use them at this time.

I'm back using the Samsung S Pen case I got with the phone.
Thinking about the VRS Terra Guard S case. But its around £70. Bit steep really.
I'm using the S Pen a lot, so the Samsung case does for now.
May yet get that Aramid case.
Trouble is I need something very protective.

That's fair enough @Glenntech 

The Samsung sPen case that came with the Samsung Starter Pack is a good quality case however for me I'm not keen on how it encroaches past the phone when it's unfolded,  however that's just my opinion. 

Fortunately there are lots of choices to look at when it comes to cases so enjoy your journey.

I've not removed the Aramid Case since fitting it.

Yes that's an annoyance with the S Pen case.
I broke my other Samsung silicone case, as I really liked that. Was thin and gave great grip.
I have another couple of cases but they just don't feel great on the phone.

I too am enjoying the fold 3 very much. The one of the best things is the feeling when you close the large screen. Feels so good! I got a leather case for now until my accessories pack comes through then will see how the official s pen case works out.
