Is it the z flip 2 you own may I ask ?
Scratches can happen on any phone especially if they are for example carried in a pocket or bag and they are brushing up against other objects.
I know some people like to have their phone's naked i.e no case around them but that does come hand in hand then with possible scuffs and scrapes, and possible issues with accidental bumps etc.
If you feel the issues are not fair wear and tear and the “ air bubble ” certainly sounds like it is not.
That said I assume it does not have an in-transit screen protector etc.
Then return the phone to where you purchased it and ask for a replacement.
In the UK we have 28 days if purchased directly through Samsung.
One should check any cooling off period / return period with the business it was purchased from.

Have the same problem & samsung is not helping to fix the phone, i deeply regret buy a samsung phone
