Why bother buying Samsung phone

I found that the after sale support and service provided by Samsung is appalling even for premium products. One of the worst I had seen is the service support from Samsung KX store.

Almost all flip phone would require a repair within 12 months.
After any repair it will most certainly develop other recurring faults.

Why do people bother buying premium Samsung phone considering the support and services provided is very limited.

Hello @GeorgeMoner

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing issues.

May I ask what has happened with your Samsung flip phone and what model it is ?

Is there a fault with your phone that your having issues having resolved ?

We might be able to guide you further.

I've not owned a Flip phone but have owned the Samsung Z Fold³ and had only one issue with the phone which was when the inner screen protector delaminated.

I agree that Samsung Customer Support can at time's be somewhat disjointed and difficult to navigate through !

You asked why do people bother buying Premium Samsung phone's.

I buy Samsung phone's because of how mine have served me in regards to quality of workmanship and materials , sound software updates and updates and the 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Model is Samsung Galaxy Z flip4.
After service the screen seems to be flickering while opening the phone.
The reason I don't approve of Samsung is
1. There is no way to raise a complaint or grievance on the service provided
2. 24 month warranty is not of much use if service engineer fails to identify the problem or is reluctant in accepting the issue

3. Finally there is no customer satisfaction survey after repair.

Considering all the above buying a premium phone from Samsung is only practical if the phone functions reliably and doesn't require ongoing support

I buy Samsung premium phones because I have previously bought other Samsung products such as smart TVs which have the best smart menu, when I build pcs I trust Samsung SSDs as they are top of the line etc and since the introduction of the S Series phones Samsung have dominated the market as they have been ahead of the game with features and capability etc. So my choices are based on Trust and confidence in the brand e.g if an SSD says Samsung Evo on it then you know it's good stuff. I have never had any interaction with customer care apart from the odd visit to an authorised retailer so I can't comment on customer care. My perception towards Samsung took a big knock due to the awful experience I had with the S22 Ultra where the release was awfully managed and Ill thought through leading to a lot of major problems for a lot of users. I'm still confident in the brand itself but will tread carefully with new releases in the hope they have learned from the poor implementation of the S22 series early on for the 1st year or so. I have bought Samsung products for a few decades so I suppose my lack of interaction with customer care is a testament in itself. I have not tried the flip phones, I can't seem to bring myself to trust the folding screen but I am keeping an eye on the Z fold as I like the ability of a big screen on the phone but as I say I still have some screen fold anxiety yet. Hope this helps

You are a Samsung employee that comments on every post and here are you presenting yourself as a random guy. Again false marketing and criminal activity from you and your employers. Samsung should be shut down forever for one simple reason. You are masters of deception, lies, and false marketing practice..

The company is a complete rip off. And should be sued globally by all people they sold a flip or fold phone.

My phone turns off when i close it, and the warranty is not valid because it has a line in the center where the phone folds. That line appears on every phone they sell in the exact same spot. The reason why it appears is more then obvious. Its an half finished product available on the marketplace with very bad quality. In other words they know much earlier then you that it will appear there. They are selling a product that cant even last 2 years and they dont want to repair it. I am pretty sure that we are talking about serious crime on a global level. And whats even more funny is that on the phone was a plastic film protector on the screen which was made 100%samsung quality and started to peel off after 2 months, and now listen this. I wanted to buy a new screen protector. But i was told that there are none available currently due shortage of supply , and that i am not able to buy one currently.

So let get trough everything once again. First they sell phones of which they are fully aware that they will break down. They wont accept your warranty because off the center line which appears on each phone, despite the HUGE LIE of 200 folds per day over 5 years, which is again false marketing and is a criminal activity on global level. And yeah you cant buy protection for the screen because they dont have it on stock, but yet they want you to have it.

The company's policy is so disgraceful, i will never never never in my life buy anything from this fraudulent institution.

I will definitively seek legal advice and pursue them for false marketing and not delivering their promises.

Its multi-billion dollar company that doesn't care about their product quality and which is even more concerning about the customers to which they sell their faulty hardware.

And yeah the guy in the customer service where i brought the phone told me after 5 seconds, that the screen is broken. Which makes their fraudulent behavior even more disgraceful.
