If like me you're unable to use the AKG earphones supplied with the phone because they don't sit in your ears properly, the Samsung adapter below solved this issue for me.
I'm able to use my Etymotic HF5 earphones with it to listen to music, watch YouTube etc and make and receive calls on the phone with no issues so far.
